Super Birthday

Hi all

Its Lyndsey here and today its my turn to show you a bit of inspiration here on the blog. I thought I do a little tutorial on one the cards I have taught my ladies in class. The card is called a Double Dutch Fold Card.


You will need

A4 white card
Stamping card
Coloured card
3 patterned papers
Square & Scalloped Square Nesties
Corner Rounder
Flowers
Promarkers
Computer generated sentiment


1. Trim the card into 2 pieces
1 @ 25cm x 12cm
1 @ 24cm x 5cm


2. Score the larger card @ 15cm
Score the smaller card @ 6cm & 18cm


3. Round the bottom corners of each card


4. Attach the pieces of card together as shown


5. Trim pieces of patterned paper to
1 @14.5cm x 11.5cm
1 @ 9.5cm x 11.5cm
1  @ 4.5cm x 5.5cm
Round the bottom corners of the largest & smaller pieces 


6. Attach to card as shown above


7. Die cut a square from white card & a scalloped square from coloured card and mat together
 

8. Stamp & colour Super Girl Lili and fussy cut out

Promarker colours used are :
Skin - Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Oatmeal, Blush
Hair - Cocoa, Caramel, Sandstone, Vanilla
Outfit - Mustard, Tulip Yellow, Buttercup
Cape & Boots - Cardinal, Red, Lipstick Red


9. Add Lili to the matted squares and add to the front panel of the card, making sure the square comes off the bottom of the panel


10. Add flowers, gems & a sentiment to finish
